How to Download YouTube Videos

There are a lot of methods to do it but I shall tell you the most popular three ones:
1. Using VDYoutube
2. Using KeepDownloading and
3. Using VLC PlayerCommunity

This topic teaches you how to download YouTube videos using online downloader services such as VDYoutube.com and KeepDownloading.com, as well as using  VLC—a free program for Windows computers. Online downloader  sites are fast and easy to use, but often contain ads and the maximum quality video you can download is 720p. If you need to download the highest  quality videos possible or want to avoid ads altogether, VLC can access  the video files directly from Youtube's servers, but this method is more complicated and takes much time.

Method 1: Using VDYoutube

1. Go to the YouTube video you want to download. In a web browser, go to https://www.youtube.com/ and locate the YouTube video you want to download. You can start playing the video to ensure it's the correct video. Use the search bar at the top to search for the video if you are having trouble locating the video.
2. Type vd in the address bar, just before youtube.com. Click the cursor right before the "youtube.com" portion of the video's URL in your browser's address bar and add vd.
For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ would become https://www.vdyoutube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ.
3. Press ↵ Enter. This goes to the website you just changed in the address bar of your web browser.
4. Click Download. This opens a drop-down menu with different quality options.
5. Click a download quality. Your download will start automatically. mp4 hd720p is the highest video format available from this service that has both audio and video.
Depending on your browser's settings, you may need to select a folder you want to save your video file to, and then click Save before your download will begin.

Method 2: Using KeepDownloading

1. Go to the YouTube video you want to download. In a web browser, go to https://www.youtube.com/ and locate the YouTube video you want to download. You can start playing the video to ensure it's the correct video. Use the search bar at the top to search for the video if you are having trouble locating the video.
2. Copy the URL. Click and drag across the address of the video at the top of your browser address bar to highlight it, then press Ctrl+C . This copies the video URL.
3. Go to http://www.keepdownloading.com/ in a new browser tab. To open a new browser tab, type Ctrl+T on Windows, then go to http://www.keepdownloading.com/.
4. Paste the URL into the text field at the top. It's the white text field on the left side of the purple "Download" button. Click in the white text field where it says "Enter the link of the video..." and then press Ctrl+V.
5. Click Free Download. This will take you to the download page for your video.
6. Choose a video quality and click Download next to it. Click the "Download" button next to the quality option that you want to save the video as and your download will start automatically.
